His career includes performances on iconic stages like the Grand Palais in Paris and during tours across Europe and the United States. He has also collaborated with renowned Montreal studios, including Studio Baillat, Lüz studio, NFB (National Film Board) and Circo de Bakuza.
DATA VS DADA
He is interested in the interaction between music, the environment, and the audience, as well as the emotions that can emerge from these encounters. His work is a constant exploration of two opposing forces: DATA and DADA.
DATA
DATA represents the methodical and rational side of his research. It is the archivist, the collector and creator of images. This is a precise and structured approach where logic and calculation are the drivers of creation. This aspect of his work draws from the aesthetic of binary code, grid and typographic systems, and visual grammar.
DADA
DADA, on the other hand, is the breath of impulse, an echo of the early 20th-century Dadaist movement. It is the anti-logic, the dream, and the intuition that disrupt the order. This element of his art is a revolt against codes and an expression of his spontaneity. The aesthetic of digital deconstruction, collage, and the figurative feeds this aspect of his work.
révolte contre les codes et l’expression de sa spontanéité. L’esthétique de la déconstruction numérique, des collages et du figuratif nourrit cet aspect de son œuvre.
